The Halloween Hootenanny podcast was my major project for Media Convergence. We were free to choose our topic. I chose Halloween because at the time of the assignment, it was late October. The final product was not finished until mid-December, a little late wouldn’t you say? I thought it would be fun to do a radio show similar to that of the 1940’s and 50’s. I did however, combine new information and music samples to fit modern-day American culture. This was a lengthy project that took too many hours to count. It is just over 36 minutes long. I did the voice of “Bloody Brain Brian” and the voice of “Nessie Monster” was done by Vanessa Slicker. This podcast was mixed and edited by me with Audacity, a free sound production/editing software found on the Web.
