This is a podcast I did for my Media Convergence class. The class covered the grand opening of the Neighborhood News Bureau in Midtown, St. Petersburg, FL. At the grand opening, I was on the live blog team. Our job was to take all the information that was brought to us by fellow students (photographers and reporters) and update, by-the-minute, the blog that we created. This podcast was built using Audacity, a free sound production/editing software found on the Web. All the sounds you hear were recorded at the function and then mixed and edited by me to make the final product.
